 Seahawk spirit soars on campus.  With nearly 40 percent of our 13,000 students living on campus, UNC Wilmington provides numerous opportunities to grow, learn and have fun outside the classroom.  Students have a strong sense of community service and civic responsibility, with more than 4,700 contributing 51,000 hours annually.  We have nearly 200 student organizations, 19 NCAA Division 1 sports, approximately 25 club sports teams and an active intramural program.  The Wilmington area offers a relaxed lifestyle, historic charm and the natural beauty and advantages of a coastal location.
